A New Campaign in the World of Akatsuki!

Hey All, 

I wanted to pop in really quick and tell you about my latest launch the Dragon Saga Luxe Hardcovers. These books are set in the same world as Tales of Akatsuki and what I'd call the 'main series' this series also stars familiar characters from Kitsune and Okami as well. 

These books are extra luxurious as I'm working with a new printer and they have gold foil under cover designs, stenciled edges and dust jackets by the same artist who created the under cover art for the Akatsuki hardcovers. 

Right now we're super close to our second stretch goal so if you're interested in adding to your Akatsuki collection hope on over.

Packages Are On Their Way! 

Yesterday my husband and I packed up the last of the rewards and I'll be dropping off the final few at the post office first thing tomorrow. But most are already on their way to their final destinations. I'm absolutely obsessed with how the sprayed edges turned out and how beautiful they went with the dustjackets and undercover art. Plus the adorable pin, keychains and ribbon bookmarks your support helped me to create. This has been an incredible campaign and I cannot wait to do another. Which I'll get to in just a moment. 

But quick house keeping a small percentage of people haven't filled out their surveys from backerkit. Especially for physical rewards its vital I get your address to send your rewards. If you haven't already be sure to fill out your survey!

Tales of Akatsuki E-books Have Been Sent Early! 

I was thankfully able to get the files upload ahead of time, thanks to my incredible formatter finished up the special thanks page and the e-books are now upload and ready for you to enjoy. You should've received an email from Backerkit with a link to download your digital rewards. Kitsune Digital coloring pages are soon to follow, just waiting on my artist to send me the final files. 

Hardcover and Merchandise Production is in Motion

I'm in the process of ordering the hardcovers, pins, keychains & bookmarks and hope to have everything in hand in the next month or so. Assuming everything goes smoothly, orders should start shipping as soon as late April or Early May. Well before my estimated timeline of June. I cannot wait for you all the hold these gorgeous special edition books in your hands. And I'll be in contact again as items arrive and there's more news to share!

Just a quick little announcement you all should have received your surveys from Backerkit in your email. If your pledge includes a special thanks it is important you fill these out ASAP (This is included in Reward Levels $50 and up).  In about 48 hours I'll be exporting all the names to list to create a special thanks page to finalize the formatting.   If you don't get your name to before the cut off I'll use your Kickstarter name under the special thanks instead. This is also your chance to grab items you might have missed, there's an assortment of add-ons available via backerkit as well. 

What Happens Next?

Once I have the final file from my formatter, I'll send e-books to pledges that them & have filled out their survey. My hope is to have the hardcovers and the rest of the items ordered next week. From there I'll be awaiting delivery, and will update once everything arrives!

Words Cannot Express How Excited I Am! 

We funded last night and raised $14,510 together! What!? I'm still in stunned disbelief. This is my third Kickstarter but we raised more than my first two campaigns combined. I'm immeasurably humbled and grateful at the same time. If teenaged me, who was embarrassed about loving anime could see me now she'd be SHOCKED I tell you. Thank you so much for your enthusiasm over this campaign and for helping create these stunning special editions! 

What Comes Next...

The book are formatted and all that remains is inserting the special thanks of you lovely backers. Which brings me to my next topic.  Once all the payments have cleared (in about two weeks) you'll be receiving surveys from Backerkit.  If your pledge included special thanks or extra special thanks. I'll need your information on how you want your name accredited in the books. 

You'll also have a second chance at the campaign extras including past exclusive hardcovers and other items not sold anywhere else.

From here, as things progress and I have news to share, I'll send updates. But keep an eye out for those surveys coming in a few weeks.
